Objective:
PostNet grew rapidly to become the one of the largest franchise based business services companies. But having used traditional franchise location build-out strategies for many years, the team at PostNet sought a more efficient and scalable fixture program for new-builds and remodels for their franchise network. The goal was to shorten the time to open and eliminate the guess work associated with multiple vendors and site specific general contractors.
Process:
Kiosko and PostNet engaged in an extensive review process of the existing fixtures, graphics and store layouts. The two teams identified areas that are sufficiently meeting the needs of the franchisees and areas where improvements were needed. Based on this analysis and the experiences of both companies, a complete fixtures and graphics program was created and implementation began. The goal was to make the onsite work standard so time to market could decrease, potential budget projections could be consistent, and the need for general contractor work on site could be eliminated for standard stores.
Results:
With Kiosko’s range of capabilities, PostNet’s fixtures and graphics have been consolidated with Kiosko and together we have built and installed dozens of PostNet stores under this new enhanced program. These custom, modular stores are installing in less than half the time of the first-generation stores and the fixtures are functioning superbly resulting in high marks from the franchisees who are now getting open faster and saving money with a high-caliber store package.
