Objective:
The Ben & Jerry's franchise program had set their sites on the development of a scalable kiosk and scoop shop model that could be applied in a variety of venues to support the expansion needs of existing and prospective Ben & Jerry's Franchisees. The fixture program needed to be modular so it could readily adapt to site specific issues and code requirements.
Process:
Kiosko and Ben & Jerry's began an intense and collaborative review of potential kiosk applications, functionality requirements and branding and aesthetic considerations. Following the development and presentation of a variety of concepts, models and renderings, the design was finalized.
Results:
The initial Ben & Jerry's franchised kiosk was installed in Georgia and has performed well in every measure. The partnership has expanded to include to include sports arena kiosks, mall kiosks and traditional scoop shops throughout the United States.
